About Strapion

We started with a complaint about colour.

The official WHOOP 5.0 band comes in six colourways, and all of them are quiet. That is a perfectly reasonable decision for a company selling a sensor you wear to bed. It also leaves you in the same strip of grey fabric every day for a year, on the one device you never take off.

That was the problem we actually had. Not the price, at first — the fact that there was nothing to choose from.

So we made 52 of them

Some are what you would expect. All black, anchor grey, midnight blue — bands whose entire job is to get out of the way. Others are a bear holding a tennis racket, or a wine print worn on the device that scores your sleep.

We think both belong in the same catalogue. The band is the only part of a WHOOP that anyone ever sees, and it stays on your wrist through training, work, dinner and eight hours of sleep. Twenty-four hours is a long time to wear something you feel nothing about.

What we are not

We do not make the tracker. We are not WHOOP, we are not endorsed by WHOOP, and we are not going to design this site to blur that line.

That matters most in one place. The WHOOP 5.0 and the WHOOP MG are not the same device: the MG’s Heart Screener and ECG readings need MG-specific conductive hardware, and a standard band will not deliver them. We say so on every product page, in the fit guide, and in the options at checkout — before you pay, rather than in a returns email afterwards.

Being independent costs us the official badge. It also means nothing stops us from telling you which of our bands will not do what you need.

What we hold ourselves to

• Breathable, quick-dry woven nylon on every band. It takes a hard session and dries before the next one.
• A published fit range: 5.5" to 8" (14–20 cm). Measure your wrist before you order, not after.
• Free U.S. shipping and 30 days to change your mind. If we got it wrong, send it back.
• $22.95 to $24.95 a band. The official one is $49. We would rather you bought two.
